You're in the wrong newsgroup.  You should post this under the Windows Mail
discussion group.  You need to contact your Internet Service Provider and ask
them for the configuration settings for Vista Windows Mail.  Most ISP have
links on their web site's home page giving instructions for settting up the
various email clients (Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Windows Live
Mail, Eudora, Yahoo, etc.).  The instructions will include which protocol to
use, IMAP, POP3, HTTP, etc., server names (incoming and outgoing (smtp)),
Ports to use, and security settings such as SSL and server authentification
for whichever email client you use.
If you don't want to learn how to setup your mail clients then I suggest you
use web based mail like Yahoo, Windows Live Hotmail, Gmail (these all offer
web based mail as well as downloaded email).  With web based mail you go to
email providers web site and login.  You read the mail and it is stored on
their server unlike email clients that download the mail to your computer for
storage.  Good luck.
