Starting Access

I recently reinstalled Office 2003 because I needed replication to be enabled
for Access. When I try to start Access from a desktop short cut or the Office
menu Windows Installer starts and opens and closes configuration windows
before the Access start page eventually opens. Before reinstalling, Access
would start straight away from the desktop shortcut. Any ideas?

Possibly caused either by multiple versions of Access running, or Access has
been installed in multiple directories. Try uninstalling everything,
rebooting then reinstall Office.

> Hi Arvin
Thanks for the Info. I did as you suggest and everything worked fine until I
installed the SP3 update, and then it returned to opening installer etc.

Then the answer is: Do it again and do not install SP 3. Something on your
system is incompatible.
