I know this is simple for most, I am a novice. I have a letter I have written
and saved as a word document.  I have an email that I have to reply to,  I am
too cut, copy and paste this letter to thier email address.
I have tried for a week or so, to no avail.  I am sure it is simple but I am
a novice and I  can not get it to work.  Thanks to who ever reads this.

Well... you're asking about either Word or about some Email program
(Outlook? Outlook Express? you don't say) in a newsgroup supporting
Microsoft Access, the database program in Office Pro. Sorry! The
webpage can be really confusing.

Please scroll down the list of subject areas and repost your question
in a newsgroup supporting the software you're using. I know in Outlook
you can set the Format of the message to HTML to enable the formatting
features like those in Word; not sure how you do it in Outlook
Express... but the volunteers in the right newsgroup will be able to
help.
