If the foreign key is just a link to the other table how do I get the Data
transfered there without retyping all of it?

Set referential integerity and use a form/subform. When you enter a new
record in the subform it will automatically add the data in the many table.

Stop.

You're completely misunderstanding how relationships work.

Creating a relationship between two tables DOES NOT "transfer" any
data from one table to the other! That's not what relationships are
for.

If you want to see data from TableA in conjunction with related
records from TableB, you would *CREATE A NEW QUERY* joining TableA to
TableB. You can then select some fields from TableA, other fields from
TableB, and see them together.

It is neither necessary nor appropriate to "transfer" the data from
TableA into TableB. If you're assuming that you must have all the data
in one table in order to view it or report it, reset your assumption
because it's *wrong*.
