I am having difficulty with combining Inventory Control and Order Entry. I
need to be able to put in received merchandise and take out inventory sold
without doing it in both databases? Supplier and Vendors in the same database
would work perfect. Also my UPC cades are not validating as text. Not sure
what to do.

I am not that savvy and just learning, however this is needed. If there is a
better way, please advise....

I'm having some trouble visualizing your current situation.

If you have two separate .mdb files (i.e., databases), you could open one
and use File | Get External Data | Link... to connect to tables in the
other.

Or you could create a totally new, empty .mdb file and link (as above) to
both of your existing databases.

Or am I just not understanding?

Jeff,

Thats sounds so simple; however there is "weigh" too much air in my head to
comprehend. BUT I DID IT!!! YAHOO...

Yes I have 2 .mdb files. I did the external links and it worked just great.
Now how do i get the other shitchboard to show?

What switchboard?

You can link data from any number of sources.

If you are trying to combine two applications into one, you'll have to do
all the development and programming.
