Can an Access database be used through a VLE?

At school we use a Virtual Learning Environment. I am hoping to set up a
database containing pupil data that will be able to be added to and accessed
by staff through our VLE under password protection. Is this possible?

Sorry, I haven't any information about VLEs, and, to get an answer to your
question, I suspect you'll have to inquire to the vendor/manufacturer of the
specific software used to implement the VLE you are using.
