Hello,

I am going crazy. Sometimes my mdb opens just fine, other times I get the
hourglass and after about 5 seconds, it goes away and leaves me with the
access main page but with no database opened up.

What is happening. The db does  not have a password that I set. Just using
it  "out of the box "

Is your database on the PC or out on a network? It seems to be timing out.
Probably needs the network fixed.
