If the date field in the form is bound to a field in the table AND you are
doing nothing to mess with it, it should no change.
The best way to do this is to have a date/time field in the table. In the
default value of the field put the following:
=Date()
This will insert the computer's date for NEW records. It will not change
unless someone changes it either manually or though some code.
