I can not save or import pictures to my office XP

when I finish with my documents, I can not save them to "my Documents" as the
office xp gives me a error message "program not responding" or "save as is
not responding". I also can not import pictures into my documents for the
same reasons. Publisher has the same problems,

You have posted to an Access newsgroup. your post does not appear to be
related to Microsoft Access which is a database product. Please post to a
newsgroup related to the software you are using.
