Hi

I'm using Access 97 & in a form I have a Memo field restricted to 1200
characters, although you can type away until the limit set by the coding is
reached it will not allow me to Tab. Such as

1) Issue letter 21/02/06
2) Bill issued 22/02/06

Is there a way to fix this?

Best Wishes

Do you mean you can't tab out of the field?

Or do you mean you can't input a tab in the field?  If the latter, that is
normal behavior for Access.

It's OK, I figured it out you use Ctrl & Enter

Or you can use the enter key if you change the control's Enter key behavior
property on the Other Tab of the properties sheet.  You can set it to New Line
in Field.
