When I send .jpg files to my friends as an attachment, a lot of them aren't
able to open them and I'm told they are in winmail.dat form. How can I fix
this problem?

Well, you're asking in the wrong place. The "Access" in this
newsgroup's name refers to the database software Microsoft Access.

Please repost your question in a newsgroup for your particular EMail
software, whatever that is.
