I am fairly new to ADSL broadband and I have Microsoft Outlook 2003.  I am
having trouble accessing incoming emails,  I seem to have to click the
send/receive icon before they go to my Inbox, is this the norm?  Can't they
go straight to my inbox, like they did when I used Microsoft Outlook Express?

Consider asking this question in an Outlook news group. You have stumbled
upon a Microsoft Access news group.
