Is there a way to get MS Access forms images/clip art?

Hi,

This is a strange question, and this is the best forum I could think of to
post this as there isn't a "general questions" forum. I'm writing a tutorial
on Access database application, and I'd like to have some Access form images
available to include in my Word document.

Some examples of the images are:
1. Record Navigation button - move to first record
2. Record Navigation button - move to last record
3. Record Navigation button - move forward to next record
4. Record Navigation button - move back to previous record
5. Record Navigation button - add new record
6. Close form (x)
etc.

I'm looking for separate images here.

Is there a web-site that has these images available, so that I can include
them in my document? I don't have access to an image creating software, and
I've already looked at the images available in clip-art in Word, and also on
the web.

If you know of a web-site, or have done something like this, please let me
know. Will appreciate any help.

Without getting into copyright infringement, start by looking here:

Digging around should point you in the right direction. Or, you could
just take a screen capture, import it into the graphics program of your
choice, and crop the image.

You could make your own:
- Open a form that has the graphics you want
- Alt + PrintScreen
- Open Paint (aka Paintbrush), which comes with Windows
- Paste
- Use the cropping tool to "select" one image at a time (ESC will
"Unselect")
- Edit>CopyTo... allows you to save the current "selection" as an individual
bmp file
- Repeat as necessary

Seems like a lot of steps but after you've done it once, it goes very
quickly.

Note: when working with screenshots, be careful not to get too frustrated
the first 10 times you try to activate the "dead" menu in the picture rather
than the "live" Paint menu. <g>

Hi Chris and George,

Thanks for both your responses. The easiest way was to copy the screen-shot
in Paint and then crop the image and copy-and-paste it in my Word document.
Really simple! :)
