are there any advantages of friction and disadvantages of friction

Unfortunately, you've posted it in an inappropriate location. This newsgroup
is for questions about Access, the database product that's part of Office
Professional. You'll need to find a more appropriate newsgroup to which to
repost your question (or, better yet, do your own homework!)

Without friction, the screws holding your computer together wouldn't
be able to do their job.  Your computer would fly apart and not be able
to run Microsoft Access.

And you could get absolutely no sound from a violin!

Unfortunately, a bassoon would still work.

Without computers, sex, and music, what's the point?
