I would like to get a code or advice on how to get a form to pop up when the
user choses a certain choice form my main form.

For example.
On my main form I would like the user to chose if they are employed or
unemployed. If they are employed they would chose that and then another form
would pop up automactically and they would then have to fill out that form
(entering data like where they work now and stuff). How to do this?

I created a button so they would be able to just click on it but I want it
to stay hidden until the user has chosen "employed" .

Hillary,

In the AFTERUPDATE of the combo box or frame you are using, you can
     if me.<yourcontrol> = <value for employed> then
        me.<cmd employ button>.enabled=true ' if greyed out
        me.<cmd employ button>.visible=true   ' if hidden
      end if

Or do a DOCMD.OPENFORM (just put in the syntax from your button) to have the
form open automaticly.

Thanks. I'll try that out. I have another quick question though. Will this
work when I am viewing my information in a table (Table view)?

thanks again

Can you explain?

What would "yourcontrol" be? Would that be my button/form or value?

Sorry, If you could give me an example that would help me out alot.

thanks
