i have a sub form within a sub form and  i have allow additions turned off on
the second sub form. i want to turn it back on with a button. both sub forms
are in a tab control box. here are my form names.
main form frm_main
sub form 1 frm_sub_education
sub form 2 frm_sub_exam

here is the code for the button on sub form 2

Me![frm_sub_exam].form.AllowAdditions = True

the error that comes up is "can't find the field "frm_sub_exam" referred to
in your expression"

any suggestions

thank-you
rick

If the Command Button is on sub form 2, then the code would be...
 Me.AllowAdditions = True
