File version conflicts

Is it okay to use a MS Access 2000 version front end and 2000 back-end with
MS Access 2002 and 2003?  Why or what could happen?

Yes. Backward compatibility is no problem.

It would be good to ensure that all verions have the correct service packs
for Office, and particularly that they use the same service packs for JET 4.
