checkbox property

hello
i m using unbound checkbox in my form..
i want to check on and off run time...
i tried using
chk_enddate.value = true
but its giving error... "You can't set value to this object"
i just want to checked on thru coding...
any suggestion??

The code should work if the checkbox really is unbound. It will not work if
the checkbox is bound to the result of an expression. For example, if I add
two checkboxes, "Check0" and "Check2" to a form, one with nothing in the
Control Source property, and one with the following expression in the
Control Source property ...

= False

Then the following code will execute the first line without any problem, but
will raise the error you describe on the second line ...

   Me.Check0.Value = False

   Me.Check2.Value = False
