I wonder if anyone out there has come accross the same problem - V Frustraiting! when I create my switchboard, the normal first message "There is no switchboard, do you want to create one now?" or words to that effect does not come up. I go through the motions of creating all the switchboards and adding all the buttons that I want, then close down the Switchboard Manager - But Nothing appears in Form list nor the table list!! Where does it go?? I have deleted and re-done the process more times that you can imagine and am probably missing the most obvious thing - but PLEASE Save my sanity!! Then you can create a new one. 2) A better solution would be to create your own swtchboard(s) using unbound forms. If you use the Command button wizard when adding buttons, Access will write most of the code for you, You will have more control over it's appearance and functionality. Maintenance will be simpler, and you're not limited to just 8 buttons on a page. You can add as many command buttons as you wish.  SignatureFred Please respond only to this newsgroup. I have in the past created, then deleted both items in order to re-use the switchboard manager - but this time, nothing seems to happen - although when I look at the manager, there are 2 switchboards with buttons! Any other thoughts would be gratefully received. I suppose it is possible that somehow you have set the Switchboard Form to Hidden. Click on Tools + Options + View tab. Place a check in the Show Hidden Objects check box. Does the switchboard form show up now? If so, then right-click on the switchboard name and uncheck the Hidden attribute box.
