Hi all -

We currently using a continous form to for Palm Census for our
research data - On the form , there is a Trial Number (to be
entered),Plot Number, Date, Palm Number and the Status (selected from
combo)

I would like to have it such that the Palm Number is not entered but
appears automatically. This will prevent some palms being missed out
and ensure that every palm is been given a status.
In a Plot there is a set number of Palms , so thus I would like to
have shown that eg. Trial 123, Plot 1 (has 15 palms) and it starts off
showing Palm 1 - status entered
Palm 2 - status entered
consectively and last being
Palm 15 - status

Please assist heaps -
Kind of like have an autonumber field or maybe some code such that it
starts off with Palm1 and + 1 until MaxPalmNo is reached.

Thanks again for all help.

On my website (www.rogersaccesslibrary.com), is a small Access database
sample called "AutonumberProblem.mdb" which illustrates how to do this.
