I have a form opened and I want to open a second form (while the first form
remains open) that is based on the same table. When trying to open the second
form, I get an error message that says:

The table 'Patients' is already opened exclusively by another user, or it is
open through the user interface and cannot be manipulated programmatically.

I can't figure out what setting I set incorrectly. Does anyone know how to
correct this problem?

Why would you need to have a 2nd form based on the same table?  It doesn't
make sense and it really isn't good to do.  If you provide your reasoning as
to what you are actually trying to accomplish, we might have a better
suggestion.
