How do I control the size of forms when they are opened ... I seem to
not correctly understand how to set all my forms to the size I want them
to be when they are opened. I always seem to have to change them.
Suggestions please ...

Hi Bob,

When you open your database the form should open to the same size every
time. However, if you are referring to the size when you are working on the
form and the size when a user opens it, you may have a command that is
maximizing this. If you remove it, what ever size you make it in design view
will be the same size when the user opens it.

This does not appear to be the case.  I do not want the form set to full
screen... but about 7" wide and 6" tall.  I can change it in design view
to the size I want; but after I close and reopen it, it reopens to only
about 4" wide.  The 'width' listed in properties says 8; but it is not
8"???. At any rate, I cannot seem to make it larger?

If that's the case, you need to widen the form itself and not just stretching
the border. So in design view, stretch the border of the form to where you
want it AND THEN stretch the form itself to meet the border and that should
do it. I just tried it on a test database and it worked fine unless you set
some of the forms controls for sizing and resizing.
