Is there a way to do this instead of redesigning a data access page?

It may not be such a great move to do so... Data Access Pages have always
been limited, weren't well accepted, and have been "deprecated" in Access
2007 -- existing ones are still supported, but you can't modify them or
create new ones with Access 2007.  They are "on the way out."
