An unbound memo field is completed by the 'zoom' popup.  The default font is
set for 8.  Is the default adjustable to a different font size?  How?

Manually setting it everytime with the 'font' button is a headache.  The
text is too small to be readable at the screen res., which cannot be
changed.

First, there is no such thing as an "unbound memo field!" Memo fields (like
all fields) are only defined in tables, and hence have to be bound. The
control that hold memo fields on forms are textboxes, and I assume this is
what you're referring to.

To set the font in the field permanently to another size, go into the form's
Design View, select the control and set the font size.

We use replication and are required to have memo fields unbound.  That means
text cannot be entered directly into them.  That's what I meant by unbound.
Instead, we have a command button that brings up the "zoom" window, which is
not a control with editable properties.

The zoom window (as in "Zoom" to view/edit a property field) has a built in
font button, but that is what we are trying to get around using.  How can
the default font of that "zoom" window be adjusted?
