I have a simple form that drops data into a table.  I would like to add a
buttons on the bottom that ask them to "Add record"  or "Cancel", so that
they are consciously entering records into the table.  How can I prevent
records from being added by them just tabbing through fields?

I have no experience in coding, have done some simple macros, but that's
about it.  Any options?

Thank you!

Open your form in design view, then on the menu bar View | Properties to
bring up its property sheet. On the "Other" tab, change the cycle property
to "Current Record." Then Click on the Access menu bar to show the toolbox.
make sure the Wizard button is depressed, and then click the command control
in the toolbox, and then move to your form and hold your mouse down and draw
a rectangle. then follow the dialogues.
