I would like to insert the button picture into a user documentation. I'm not
able to extract the button picture from Access. Can anyone help?

The picture that you can display in lieu of text on a command button. The
list of pictures is available in the picture builder, but I can't take a
screen shoot or find the bmps in on file.

All of these button images should be one or more of the menu
bars/toolbars so we'll grab it from there.

When you have the menu or toolbar on screen that you want
to see in your documentation right click on any menu bar and
select Customize. Then right click on the specific button itself
and select "Copy Button Image." Now open Paint, Word, or
something else and do Ctrl+V for Paste and the image will
be placed in the documentation or in the Paint program to
manipulate.

Thanks, but thats not it. The pictures you can select for command buttons are
not necessarily the same as the ones in the menu bar. If you select the
properties of a command button and select the build (...) in the picture row,
the picture builder opens. Most of the pictures there have nothing to do with
the icons for the menu bars (see notepad(red)).

While you're in the Customize mode, right click on the button whose image
you want; click Copy Button Image. Now you can paste it on another button,
or into a Word document, or....

No, he means a standard button on a form, not a menu bar button.....

I think the easy way here is to simply do a screen copy (hit the print
screen button) while viewing the screen, and then with your favorite picture
editor, cut out the picture....

I did think that somone had the location of where the buttion icons exist
(the airplane, the exit door etc), but I am not sure.....
