Unwanted message when image loads - Acess 2000

I have created a form which includes five images.  They are about 300 x 400
pixels.  I can call the images required by setting the path and filename as
the picture property of the image.
When I call the images, an informational box appears on the screen, with the
message
"Importing ..." followed by the filename and path.
This message is irritating, unsightly, and unnecessary.  Can anyone please
tell me how to suppress or hide this message?

Thanks

See:
   Suppress the "Loading Image" dialog

Leonard, the message is not only unsightly, but be associated with crashes:

Thank you very much for your help.  I'm amazed at how promptly you replied.
I have not yet tried the ideas suggested, but they appear to be exactly what
I wanted.
