Changing Export Delimiter

I am looking for a way to export worksheets similar to Access. Selecting a
better delimiter (prefer | over TAB and CSV) and NO QUOTES around text
strings.

I really wish MS would add this DIRECTLY into Excel (anyone in Redmond
listening)? I have Office 2003 and am amazed that this has never been
addressed. I don't need Access 99% of the time. Editing in Excel, importing
into Access and then exporting the way I need is a major PITA.

Either Maco or Addin would be great.

Thanks.

Since your complaint is with Excel, you'd be better off posting to an Excel
newsgroup.

However, I know that you should be able to construct a macro in Excel that
will let you export worksheets the way you want. You'll have to write to the
file yourself, using the Open, Print and Close commands, but it shouldn't be
that difficult.

My Bad. But there was no "delete" to this forum. I realized after I posted,
but didn't think to post a "nevermind".

btw, I found a nice spreadsheet that lets you kick-out nicely formatted text
files. I found it in the excel forum.
