Is there a way to update the link to an Excel spreadsheet without going
through the Linked Table Manager?  Thanks.

Can you be more specific?
When do you want to do link?
Will the Excel file always be in the same folder and have the same name?

The tables will not move.  They're for an instrument usage log, and after
about a month, the current table will be static, and a new one will be active
and changed.  I want to update the links when the db is opened, mainly at the
time the monthly report is created.

I missed the MVP article that John posted.  I'll check that code as well as
the replies here.  Thank you.
