how can I link the data in access to an excel spreadsheet

If I change a value in access I would like it to change in the excel
workbook also

This is a very broad question.  Are you linking the spreadsheet like a table?
How are you updating the data in Access?

There are several ways to accomplish this, but we need to know what you are
doing now to get you the correct answer.
