I am attempting to import an excel file but keep getting the following message

The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object "filename$".
Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name
correctly.

Please can anyone help.

Thanks
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

More information please. How are you importing the file? (if under
program control, please post the relevant code). Does this happen with
all Excel files, or some, or just this one? If only one or some files,
what's different about them?
