I have a file which is downloaded to my PC everyday in csv
format and I would like to automatically import this file
exactly as it is field by field into an access database ,
so I can write queries.
Can anyone help. Thanks again.

Hi,

If you just need to query the most recent version of the text file,
there is no need to import the data. Instead, you can just use a linked
table, or even write queries that reference the text file directly,
using SQL syntax like this:

SELECT * FROM TestImport
FROM [Text;HDR=No;Database=C:\MyFolder\;].MyFile#txt
