When trying to link to paradox tables from Access, I am
getting:
'unexpected error from external database driver (12034)'

However, this is only arising on some of the tables, not
all.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.
regards
Ivor

Try having someone re-index the paradox system first.  In
a way, that is the "repair database" of Paradox.  Have you
tried just importing first?  You may need to attach the
associated index file in paradox when linking.

Thanks John,
No, can't do straight import. Not sure if I'll be bale to
get access to paradox files.
Are the index files .PX or .MB? If so, how do I attach
them.
Thanks
Ivor

Hello I had the same problem, if you shut ndown the Paradox data base and
access then restart access and try importing directly then it works (for me
anyway)
