After I select the linked tables to be updated, select the
source database that conatins the tables, and click
on 'Open', a little dialog box pups up saying "You made an
illegal function call."

This is on an Access 2002 installation where the Linked
Table Manager has worked perfectly - until now.  The only
significant system event I can recall since the last time
it worked perfectly is that Windows XP Service Pack 2 was
installed.

Help!

- Thanks in advance

Trying repairing the database.

Also, try importing all the objects into another new
database first.  Sounds simple, but it has worked for me.
