Hi

Can you tell me if there is a way to set up a vb script
or a macro to import a table from another database?

I am on holiday for 2 weeks and somebody to needs to run
off some reports.  Usually I import the table from the
live database and run the reports from there.  If I could
automate the import it would help.

Thanks

Hi Paul,

Access has both macros and the VBA programming language. Macros are
simpler to get started with, but VBA is immensely more powerful in the
long run.

If all you need to do is to import a table and run some reports, a macro
is probably all you need. Use the Insert|Macro menu command to get
started; and use the TransferDatabase and OpenReport actions.
