MSAcess2003 SP2. After running and previewing a simple report (header, and
detail lines only) I perform an export using file format text
files(*.txt,*.csv,*.tab,*.asc), encoded as Windows default. When I open the
export file it is not like the report I just previewd. There is a blank line
at the top, then the next line is header information, then the next line is
blank. From there on out, the detail appears in clusters of three lines of
data, a blank line, and this pattern repeats for the remainder of the data in
this file. The report is as I would expect the export file to be ... first
line header information, second line data, and data for the remainder of the
file, with no blank lines.
What is going on? How can I fix the export not to have the extra/blank lines?
Thank you in advance.

You really can't and still have it look the same when previewed or printed.
Reports are not really meant for exporting.  A query may be more what you
need.  What is it you are trying to accomplish, perhaps we can help.
