I created and saved an import specification.  I want to print this
specification out as my "file layout" document.  Can I print it or cut/paste
into another document?

The following query:

SELECT MSysIMEXColumns.*, MSysIMEXSpecs.SpecName
FROM MSysIMEXColumns INNER JOIN MSysIMEXSpecs ON MSysIMEXColumns.SpecID =
MSysIMEXSpecs.SpecID
WHERE (((MSysIMEXSpecs.SpecName)="My Import Specification"));

will list the specifics of your Import Spec.  Just replace "My Import
Specification" with the name of your own spec.

Thank you for the reply.  In the meantime, I found a less technical way to
get what I needed.  I highlighted all information in the field information
display on the import specifications window.  Then I used <control-C> to
copy, opened excel, and pasted <control-V> the file layout into excel.  This
gave me exactly what I needed.  Although the copy/paste options are not
available on pop up menu or tool bar menu, they are allowed with keyboard
comands of copy/paste.  Thank you again for taking the time to respond to my
request.  It is much appreciated.
