Export to Excel missing text

When export a report from an Access 2000 database to Excel 2000 a notes field
is being randomly truncated i.e. not all the data in that field is being
exported. Has anyone come across this and do you have any idea of a fix?

Bet that it's a Memo field and only the first 255 characters are making it to
Excel. If so, here's one answer:
