Ok, my mom and dad have a version of word 2k3 on thier computer and
have unfourtiunatly lost the disks.  When they try to mail merge
something from Excel over to Word for mailing labels it says in the
bottom left "starting excel....(pause 5 mins)...Starting DDE
Link.......(never recovers)".  It worked about 2-3 months ago but now
nothing.  Can anyone help?

This newsgroup is for questions about using external data sources with
Microsoft Access database software, so isn't the best place to ask about
problems with Word and Excel. You'll probably do better to ask in a Word
newsgroup.
