Access to Excel Cross Reference - 26 Jun 2006 23:56 GMT
i need tio know if there is any way to do this easier.

i have a large list of part numbers and quantity by month that i run a query
for in Access to create a cross reference spreadsheet in excel to total by
month and by part number.

currently with my limited knowlege of Access i have to print the many pages
long query and type the data into the spreadsheet.  i find it hard to
transpose as the month is on the top header row while the part numbers are
maintained a columns for cross reference.

please explain to me if any solution exists at all!  i am willing to try
something new in either application if i can do this in one program instead
of two.

Can you not export the query to EXCEL using a macro action
(TransferSpreadsheet)?
