I am trying to have a query from Microsoft Access pasted and linked to a
Microsoft Excel File.  Please, if any one has any insight on what I am trying
to accomplish, please contact me.  Thank you.

That will not work; however, what you want to do is use MSQuery within Excel
to pull data from Access.
Open your Excel file, then Data, Import External Data, New Database Query.
It is enought like an Access query you wont have any troulbe making it work
for you.
