Greetings,

In my database, I have created an option using the Shell command to open an
external document using a specific program.  I am having trouble with my next
step, in that, if a partcular computer user doesn't have that program, a
"Browse to" window will open, in which a user can select a preferred program.
99% of the files are image files (.tif, .plt, etc.).  What I am shooting for
would be the equivalent of the Open With window in Explorer.  A second
difficulty I have had in my attempts with Help files, etc. are the proper
keywords in searching for any kind of help.

In this regards, any halp would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Brad

Douglas,

Thanks for the direction.  I have gone to the Access Web many times, but as
I had stated, one of my problems is not quite understanding what I was
looking for.
