I am extremely confused and struggling to find anywhere I can purchase any
of the packages I need to achieve what I want.

All I want is the ability to provide a runtime version of my application and
need the 2003 Developer Extensions.

Can someone tell me:

What I need to purchase ?
How much it is ?
And were can I purchase it ?

I am UK based and want to have a boxed version.

The MS website seems to suggest I need Visual Studio, as the tools are
shipped as part of that. Yet the ADE are not part of Visual Studio.

Would it be easier to purchase Access 2007 and wait for the Development
tools to be released...and how long with that be?

Please help

Right and wrong.    You want the VSTO or Visual Studio Tools for
Office.   As well as A2003 of course.

As to pricing and availability you'll have to find that yourself.  But
it won't be cheap.  $400 or $500 I think.

2Q 2007 is all we've been told.   And you are probably aware that the
A2007 runtime tool will be free.

I recently purchased this on eBay.  I had to be very aggressive and there
was a last-minute run-up in the price.  So I had to be logged on and
prepared to big it up to get it.  I believe I paid about $150 (US).  If you
try this approach, make sure you get an unopened box so that your license is
assured.  Bob.
