Hum, you don't mention what version of ms-access....
I run and tested the a2003 runtime on windows vista quite a few times and it
works just fine....
And, my access 2000 applications also just run fine on vista with out a
problem....

Thanks for the follow up.
Do you distribute to your clients your Access 2003 programs using Office
Developer XP software? The installation of MS Access Runtime using Office
Developer XP software process is what I am having problems with. I have
thought about getting around all this by using batch files to install each
file & MS Access Runtime by executing by using code but this seems pretty
Unprofessional to my client.

they may run just fine, but does the packaging wizard installer work?? i am
confident the runtime would still be ok, but as ms broke the packaging
wizard by removing some files in xpsp2 i suspect they did it again by
removing some other files in vista... just which ones is the question.

It's The Packaging Wizard that is giving me the problems. Both MS runtime &
my access files work fine in Vista if I load them seperately & not use the
Developer Package Wizard.
I fixed the problem in the packaging wizard files as related to XP"s sp2.
The wizard worked fine after that fix on XP sp2 machines. I'd like MS make a
fix for this problem with Visa so I do not have to purchase another companies
software.
Thanks for your response.
