Hi
I own the full Office 2000 Pro suite and would like to distribute a
database.
I realize that I need to buy Office 2000 Dev Tools and I saw it for
sale on a website for £20. The guy selling it says and i quote "there
isnt a licence number, it installs on top of your current office 2000
and uses the licence from that.
"
Is this correct?
If so, how do I prove that i own the Dev Tools. The CDs are genuine MS
ones.

I'd be very leery. It doesn't sound legitimate to me.

Hi Denz,
In order to use Office 2000 Developer (MOD 2000), you will need a license
for it, in order to be able to distribute Access runtime.
Unfortunately Microsoft have retired Office 2000 Developer, the current
version being Visual Studio tools for Microsoft Office System (2003).
I hope this helps
Mark
