developer toolkit problem

i have been using the developer toolkit and runtimes for
access 2.  However this is not currently working with
access 2000.  Can this problem be resolved without the
purchase of the newer software.

no, for every access version you have to purchase separate "developer"
version

I don't understand what access 2 is but
The runtime setup is different in Access 97 than access
2000. In 2000 you build the application from within the
database and it is done externally in 97.
