Hi Everyone

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this but
here's the question anyways.

I am converting an Access 97 database to Access XP.
However, not every user will be migrated at the same time
to Access XP.  When a user with Access XP tries to open a
97 database, they will receive a message asking whether to
open the database or convert it.  I would like to check
which version of Access was launched before this message
displays.  Is this possible through the Access file or
should I be doing something in Windows to check for the
version?

Any info would be great!
Thanks in advance.

If you are getting the prompt for either convert or open read-only, it must
be AccessXP is launched. As if you launch access97 to open a access97 file,
you won't get the prompt.
