I have an access application I wish to distribute. Currently in Access 2003.
What process would I need to create installation for both front end and back
end. I would like to be able to do updates to the front end.
Would Access 2007 developer extensions work and would the user have the
ability to link the tables after updates?
I also have Install Shield.
Please briefly outline the steps needed.
Thanks very much, been waiting for free developer extensions for quite a
while.

Hi,
you have to make your own routine to relink tables, like here:
http://www.mvps.org/access/tables/tbl0009.htm

if you do not need to install run-time - then you can use either developer
extensions or Install Shield, whatever is more convenient for you
