Hi,

I created an Access application (in Access 2000 database format) and
packaged it with the Access XP/2002 deployment wizard.  I am trying to
install the package on a PC with Access 2003.  I receive an error
message:

"This application requires Access 2002.  Setup cannot continue."

Is there any way I can make the setup package find the installation of
Access 2003, and so bypass this error?

Thanks for your help.

Does Acces have "Developed for Windows" (or similar) logo? If so, there MUST
BE NO PROBLEM!!!

I'm very sorry I can't help you but problems like your just drive me crazy.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

I am having the identical problem trying to install an Access 2000
Runtime application on a machine with Access 2003.

I tried renaming the MSAccess.exe file for 2003 but this does not
help.

Were you able to resolve your issue and if so what did you do?

thanks

Frank
