I've a ADP database on my PC with Access 2003. All runs well, but i need to compile to ADE format. On my PC All runs good but when i send the compiled ADP to a PC with Access 2002 it says "Later database format, upgrade access to later version"

I need to port the ADP database to the Access 2002 PC, compile to ADE there and this version runs well on both 2003 and 2002 versions of access

Access 2003 is unable to build ADE databases ready to use on earlier versions

Thanks in advanc

Pablo,

Access is able to create an MDE file (and, presumably, an ADE file) only if
the file format is the same version as the version of Access; i.e., an
Access 2003 file format can only be converted to an MDE/ADE using Access
2003; an Access 2002 file format can only be converted using Access 2002;
Access 2000 file format ...  Access 2000, etc.
